What do Thomas Hardy, a Penny Farthing and Wall-E have in common ?
They all feature in a stunning new mural at Dorchester Arts Centre painted by volunteers from Dorset V as part of the town’s Moving on Fringe09 event. Working with artist Peter Sheridan in the week running up to Moving On, the group spent three days transforming a drag wall into a fabulous piece of art.
Arts Centre chair Alastair Nisbet said the public response had been fantastic. “We’ve been blown away by the quality of the work these young people have created - it’s been such fun to have them here - they’ve helped bring a real buzz to the place.”
